Interesting. Lots of history and a nature trail that will take up into the mountains with lots of info on plants and desert. Only a little over 1 mile loop but was two miles from the parking lot. America the beautiful pass will get you in free. Worth the visit but a pretty good walk to see all the signs.

This place is so awesome with plenty of furnishings from back when the fort was actually inhabited by soldiers in the late 1860s with plenty of information about what life was like in those times from rationing food to medical treatment. It looks like they're actively trying to restore many of the buildings while still retaining their original weathering in some parts to show the state that the buildings were in prior to restoration. Beautiful little piece of history to enjoy.

Fort Davis National Historical Site in Fort Davis, Texas, preserves the history of a 19th century U.S. Cavalry fort. Some buildings have been reconstructed and furnished, including an enlisted barracks, the Commanding Officer's residence, a hospital, and the commissary. Original buildings are little more than foundations, but provide a feel for the fort's dimensions. They also have a 14-minute film discussing the fort's history, as well as many informative displays. The staff is very knowledgeable.

After a fragrance mishap with my laundry at a different laundromat, I spent a couple of days here washing and rewashing the same load trying to get rid of the allergy inducing scent. At only $2.50/load to wash and five minutes for a quarter to dry (October, 2023), it was much more affordable than elsewhere. I wasn't looking for additional amenities so this bare bones laundromat was perfect for my needs. There are ten each front loading washers and ten dryers.

I'm sure this was a decent laundromat when new, but it has obviously degraded greatly due to lack of upkeep. It was filthy inside! The floors, windows,walls, and all the machines were awful. The front load washing machines are not high capacity. I had to use three machines, which is the same when using top loading washers. Several pieces were marked unusable; one of the washers I used leaked the detergent back out (see photo), and I had to rewash in another machine. Whoever owns this facility must be Brain-Dead. Common sense would tell you that if you keep a nice, clean and well-run laundromat, then it gets used more, thus making more money!

We went here in late March 2024 during a big trip. We found it to be sufficiently clean , with 10 washers and dryers (though one dryer was down at the time). All equipment was SpeedQueen and seemed in generally good shape. We had a brief interaction with the attendant and he seemed very courteous. No bathroom. Change machine took $1 to $20. We had 4 loads, and each dryer got our clothes dry in 20 minutes ($1 ) on medium heat (except one pair of jeans but we just let them air dry the rest of the way) or high heat (towels and bedding)

Fast and efficient. Very helpful and kind office staff. They gave me a call prior to coming out and were very knowledgeable and handy. Had the job done under an hour. Prior to leaving the assured there were no further leaks. A+ service

Mandy and her team went above and beyond for us. Called and had an after hours emergency and they were right on it same day. I can't remember the young man's name that came and fixed our water main but he was incredible. They are our go to from now on for ANY plumbing issue we have!

Great plumbing company. Awesome communication and very timely service at a fair price. Would highly recommend.
