After Hurricane Beryl, we had to deal with the aftermath of storm which was a tree falling onto our house. We called a contractor that ended up putting a tarp incorrectly on our home and then ghosted us. We then called MaxResto and they quickly came to help. Their knowledge was immediately evident as they helped us navigate issues with our insurance. They gave us the best advice as we dealt with the massive headache of restoring our home. They fought so hard to get us everything we were entitled to and were extremely thorough with tons of documentation. We were so grateful for their expertise, patience and kindness through such a difficult time.

MaxResto was awesome. We made some changes to our landscaping in the backyard that inadvertently altered our drainage and resulted in some water intrusion through our back door during a heavy rain. We caught it that day and found MaxResto. We contacted them that afternoon and they came out within the hour. One of the owners came out themselves to provide the assessment. They gave us their recommendations the following morning and then came out that day to put equipment in place. They came out every day for the next 3 days to take readings. Once they confirmed everything was good to go, they removed their equipment. It was a great experience and we highly recommend MaxResto!!

Disaster America did a great job on the renovation of a water emergency I had in April… but: Fast forward to late June… The renovation/restoration was finally done: $72 THOUSAND DOLLARS later and 2 bedrooms, hall, bathroom, and 1/4 of the living room dried out and replaced by Disaster America USA. Now… 6 weeks ago (mid July) we started noticing a “buckle” in the floor right inside the front door (about 4 ft from where they deemed was the end of the water damage). 3 weeks ago the buckle had started protruding through the brand new LVP that they put down and it spread down a line toward where they had finished the underfloor remodel. By Thursday it had gotten so bad we couldn’t open the door all the way. Now… when the LVP broke and boards started coming through I called to speak with Jason at Disaster America and he text me and told me to email him the pics and he’d get back to me… I’ve yet to hear back from anyone. I also called and spoke with Sam who was the foreman of the construction company they used and sent him pics of it. He actually said they’d be here Friday to take a look at it and never showed up and I haven’t been able to contact him again either. *Though Sam did tell me he figured the foundation under the old floor had failed and he was sure that was the problem Of note- the foundation was repaired less than a year ago and I have the warranty* So on Friday… With some help, I started ripping up the floor to see what the problem was because obviously it was my problem and no one was going to get back with me on this. It wasn’t the foundation… the hardwood subfloor had buckled because the water obviously went further than they thought {as I’d thought, and even asked them to go further when they were ripping it up and they declined and said they KNEW it wasn’t damaged out that far}. So, enjoy some pics of my Labor Day Weekend as this $1.74 disaster continues to cost me THOUSANDS of dollars to fix still, after it was already “fixed” to the tune of $72,000!

We would like to thank Gus for all his help. I was very suspect of this process and what it claimed to do- after some researching online I came across the Army Corps of Engineers report on the process and became a believer. It helped detail the science and ability of the dry fogging. Gus was great to work with and would highly recommend him for anyone in need of these kind of services. The entire process was relatively quick and non invasive to our home life as the amount of time out of the home was minimal compared to demolition and construction. Again, if this is something you are considering would encourage folks to call Gus and ask questions.

We had an excellent experience with Gus, owner of Pure Maintenace. The only thing is, I wish we had called them first, not last. After a mold incident throughout our house after hurricane Beryl we did full remediation by tearing down walls and rebuilding what felt like our entire house. This costed us over $20k. Although that helped there was an area we missed or overlooked. We were experiencing health issues from the mycotoxins that mold gives off and were trying to figure out what options we had. Another big remediation costing another $20k or even just selling our house. We started searching options online and reading mold forums on Facebook. That’s how we found Gus at pure maintenance. He helped answer a ton of questions and helped us understand the entire process. After some more research online (reviews, corps of engineers report, etc.) we decided to pull the trigger and proceed with his services. Gus worked with our schedule and even stayed later than anticipated to help limit the time our family spent in a hotel, which was not even necessary, but we chose to stay in a hotel for our personal convenience. His pricing was extremely fair, especially compared to what we would have spent in remediation. Not to mention it only took a day for Gus to do his fogging. Remediation we would have had to stay in a hotel for a month or more. Returning home after Gus was all done our home felt so clean and good. There was no smell at all and we were no longer reacting to anything like we were before. Finding Gus and his services was a true blessing and something I wish we had known about sooner. He’s very mold literate & thoroughly explains his step by step process in detail. He went above and beyond to further explain mold growth and prevention. His knowledge on mold exceeded that of every other mold remediation company I had spoken to. The dry fogging patented technology really is a game changer when it comes to eradicating mold. Woodlands Water Restoration responded immediately to my call regarding a large water leak in a three bay plaster wall garage. Within two hours, fans were installed and work scheduled to tear out wet installation, install new insulation and install two layers of drywall.
