The team worked diligently to dismantle the drywall and sealed off our living area with plastic from top to bottom, preventing any dust or odor from spreading to other areas of the home. Blackhill is an incredible restoration company to work with. Within 5 hours of me reaching out there was a team at my house helping assess damage and talking me through the process. Justin and his team went above and beyond all expectations. They were extremely transparent with every step taken, answered any question I had, and provided the information I needed to make an informed decision which they were always respectful of. Justin even went out of his way to meet my insurance adjuster with me to help answer all technical questions and advocate on my behalf. Dry Force Mitigation is an outstanding company. A year ago I had a bad experience with a different company. This year, Goettl Plumbing suggested Dry Force and I contacted them. Alex with Dry Force, was respectful, friendly, courteous, explained everything in detail, and he took lots of pictures. Unlike the other company who overcharged and didn’t have the pictures to support their charges, Dry Force supported their charges in detail with pictures regarding everything they were doing. Hopefully I won’t need a water mitigation company again, but if I do then Dry Force is who I will call and who I will also recommend to my friends.

Dry Force was great with helping me with my shower disaster! The shower leaked and soaked the surrounding walls. They were able to get the walls dry, and using sensors, were able to monitor the progress remotely. Jonathan was so kind and did his absolute best to help me get things sorted out. He was respectful of the space, and was very informative about next steps. I highly recommend!

After a certain utility company drilled a hole through the sewer line at my Georgetown home causing sewage to back up into the house, ServPro was called on to handle all mitigation and renovation. There were several inches of black water throughout the house. A TOTAL nightmare! From the beginning, ServPro reps including Jordan, Chance, and Pete exhibited the utmost concern and professionalism to help me overcome this HUGE inconvenience. They addressed every problem thoroughly and did a total rehaul on the house in a timely manner to help me get on with my life. I could not have done it without them. Highly recommended for all levels of mitigation and renovation. The house looks amazing! Thanks ServPro !

AVOID at all costs! In a nutshell: Servpro of Pflugerville is negligent and ignores the laws for mold removal in Texas that are in place to protect consumers and homeowners. They demolished entire walls in my home when our protocol called for a precise excision of 2 feet. Their complete dismissal of state regulated safety procedures exposed my family to unsafe living conditions and potentially exposed the rest of my home to toxic mold spores. Their work failed the first visual inspection for clearance. They charged us for services that were never provided and equipment that was never present on site or used despite it being required in our protocol. When we addressed the false billing practices and requested an updated bill that accurately reflected the services provided, they increased our bill and filed with collections. They never sent us a paper bill. We never had a change order. They will destroy your home, spread your mold problem and bill you incorrectly. RUN! The full story: Our home was found to have dangerously high levels of toxic mold. We had an independent inspector detail a very specific mold removal protocol to keep our family, our pets, and our belongings safe. Then we made the mistake of hiring ServPro of Pflugerville. Marc was the mold division manager that we worked with and the choice to go with Servpro was the worst move we could’ve made. Our contract specifically outlined that all services were to follow the mold removal protocol written by the independent inspector (which is state law). However, once under contract, and after they'd received 50% of our bill paid up front, their team disregarded our protocol and basically just did a hack demolition job on the front half of our home. They failed to secure negative air pressure, they didn’t follow the protocol for how to seal off the rooms effectively and they ripped out an entire wall of my home when the protocol outlined only removing 2 feet of sheetrock! They ripped out sheetrock, insulation, and windowsills, and just threw them out the window onto my front lawn without any bags or proper containment. They taped unaffected surfaces and ripped holes in adjacent walls that should not have been affected. They failed to remove my furniture from the rooms (which is against state guidelines) and then failed to clean them or even turn my couch back rightside up when they left. The rooms were dusty and uncleaned but our bill has in depth HEPA vacuuming that never occurred. Tape was left on furniture and vents and trash was left in the rooms. This company operates as a predatory agency that will hurt the health of your family and the integrity of your home through complete disregard for your safety, belongings, and the mold protocol that they are hired to follow and required by law to adhere to. They didn’t follow safety precautions and literally threw a windowsill out of my upstairs window almost hitting me in the head when I walked outside with my toddler! I discussed these project violations with Marc, the mold division manager in charge of our project. I was reassured that these issues would be remedied. They were not. I requested a new team since the team assigned to us was clearly untrained and unsupervised. They were not following the written guidelines for their work. Despite my requests, the same team was repeatedly sent to my home. The project ran more than double the quoted time due to failures in scheduling their resources. We were billed for services that were never performed and equipment that was never present. Servpro failed to perform mold remediation to the required standard set by Texas law and their dismissal of the required safety procedures outlined in our protocol exposed my family to unsafe living conditions in addition to exposing the rest of my home to toxic mold spores. Mold remediation is a nightmare when you hire a disreputable and predatory company like Servpro. Save yourself the health risks, financial exhaustion, and emotional rollercoaster of this company. We had a dishwasher leak that unfortunately caused significant damage to our home. Initially, we worked with a mitigation company recommended by our plumber to dry things out and remove the damaged flooring, drywall, cabinets, etc. However, for reasons I won’t go into here, we decided to seek a different company for the restoration. Our insurance company recommended PuroClean, and I’m so glad they did. From start to finish, working with PuroClean was a fantastic experience. They were incredibly professional, responsive, and efficient. I primarily worked with Jorge, and he was outstanding—always available, quick to respond to requests, and ready to address any concerns. Even though I know I can be a bit demanding at times, Jorge and the team never made me feel that way. They understood how stressful and disruptive this situation was for my family and made it their priority to help us get back into our home as smoothly and quickly as possible. What stood out most was how easy PuroClean made the entire process. They communicated clearly and consistently, ensuring we were always in the loop. Their dedication to delivering quality work while minimizing any further disruptions made all the difference. Javier was very professional and communicative during our time working with him. We had a decent sized leak and he efficiently dried out and took care of our home so that we will not encounter any mold issues while we wait to get our floor redone. Javier was flexible and came multiple times to check moisture levels and was very thorough in setting up the fans and humidifier. We would love to work with him again if we ever have another need!

I mét& worked with Israel, the project manager & two gentlemen named Jorge, one in charge of removing the damaged floor and the other. In charge of installing the new flooring. All were very professional, affable And accommodating. There were some delays coordinating with manufacturer but the work done by PuroClean was Superior. I have used Superior remediation now twice and they will forever be my go to company for water damage / mold concerns. Chris Duncan is extremely professional and goes the extra mile for his customers. I always felt taken care of during what can be a very difficult and emotional time when you are dealing with water damage in your home. Also Chris’ knowledge far surpassed that of other remediation contractors that I interviewed for the work. Having been through 2 large mold remediation projects, involved at a significant level including consulting with nationally known experts, I know a good deal about mold inspection and remediation at this point. For the 2nd remediation, I used Superior Remediation and I am so glad I did. I had met Chris Duncan a few years previous and was impressed. At that time I had a small water event, and I called Superior Remediation because they are on Toolman Mold Inspection’s recommendation list. This was on a weekend. Chris Duncan came out within a few hours. He did exploration and consultation (at no cost). He was very customer oriented, knowledgeable, and diligent. As it turned out, the issue was caught in time and no mold remediation was necessary. I was quite impressed with Chris, so I kept him in mind for any future water mitigation or mold remediation needs. More recently, I called Superior to remediate my home in accordance with a licensed inspector’s assessment and remediation protocol. Whereas with the first remediation I had worked with a larger company, I discovered how much better it is to work with a small company, where you interface with the owner throughout the project, and not an employee, who may or may not be very well trained. Chris spent a lot of time talking things through with me and explaining things, and I mean a lot. I was consistently blown away by his knowledge. I learned a lot from him. Chris is diligent about making sure all water damaged and/or moldy materials (plus adjacent materials) are removed, but makes a significant effort to not just tear out areas unnecessarily, and he communicates his rationale to you and makes sure you are in agreement. He went above and beyond, did an excellent job, and is super ethical. One remediation area became quite complex as there were indications of additional hidden mold in a distant location that the inspector couldn’t find. It was a tricky enough issue that I hired a nationally known mold assessment expert to help figure out what was going on, but it was Chris who first pointed out a contributing issue and had useful (and correct) insight into what was actually going on. He also attended the meetings with this consultant even though his job is remediation, not assessment. Despite all this, Superior Remediation is not more expensive than other licensed mold remediation companies. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Great company to work with--excellent customer service, efficient and effective. I highly recommend Superior Remediation. Chris is so knowledgeable and provided a lot of helpful insight. He also went above and beyond to ensure we understood what to expect from the entire remediation process. Communication was great, and if we had a question, Chris was always available to answer it. He was patient and kind and it gave us a real sense of security knowing he cared as much about doing things right and taking care of our home as we did. The team completed the job with great attention to detail and their work exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely refer them to friends and family.
