My wife and I bought our dream house on July 4th weekend and on September 1st, the heavy rains cause a roof leak. Flooded our sunroom. Insurance sent Blackmon Mooring out to start mitigation. I was expecting white glove service but they drug their feet and after ten days of not fans or dehumidifiers, I fired them and happened to call ServPRO. I have been in management for over twenty years and José and Carlos exceeded my expectations. They got to work right away and even cleaned up the mess Blackmon Mooring left. These men worked nonstop at removing all the damaged flooring, walls and ceilings. They were very communicative and punctual. I cannot recommend them enough. The work was clean, precise and they treated the situation better than we expected. Very professional and very comfortable with their work. Thank you José and Carlos, you have made a very stressful situation much easier on us. We will call you again when needed for sure.
We had a punctured water line flood on our new floors at 11pm. We called Servpro and Mike showed up in less than an hour to start fans & dehumidifiers. Throughout the process, Mike has been great and taken excellent care of us. He coordinated with our schedule and has been extremely courteous. HOPEFULLY we won't need it again, but if we ever have another accident, we will definitely contact servpro. Thank you Mike!
We had an HVAC condensation leak in our attic that caused water damage to an extensive area. I found SERVPRO of HEB online and called them. They responded within minutes and sent their technician, Sean K., who arrived within the hour. He is very professional, and quickly assessed the extent of the damage. He also proposed a remediation and repair plan, and placed fans and a dehumidifier to mitigate the damage. SERVPRO also assigned Jessica to coordinate the mitigation and repairs with my insurance company. I highly recommend SERVPRO of HEB.

Absolute loved! Exchange and Commissary. Finally, I am eligible and taking every opportunity available.
I have mixed opinions with this facility. Some staff members are great, some very rude. We drive about 2 hours away with 5 little kids. We got there early like the lady told us and were able to be seen that day. They turned walk-ins away at a certain time way prior to the cut off time. The gentleman up front was real choppy with me when I tried to explain we were dual Marines. He only cared about the sponsor but actually they got the dates wrong for Tricare because my EAS fell after his retirement. There was also another administrative error, but Tricare was able to adjust. One of the staff members made a rude remark calling me to the back for my photo ID. All in all, this was our closest option and got the job done even though it wasn’t done correctly. Some staff are very helpful and others are rude.
I took a couple of resevists here to get some paperwork done. I strongly suggest DOGE make some cuts. The staff spends ninety percent of their time playing on their phones; it's quite lamentable.

When you need a helping hand, it is great knowing that "we take care of our own" extends to our families and retirees also.
We met with Jay, and I must say I was very disappointed with the conversation we had with her. Some of the things that she stated was very inappropriate. When we were going through the budget sheet and we got to the cable and internet section, she said “you can call them and play the widow married to a veteran card.” My dad just passed away, and I felt that was highly racially insensitive to say to my mother and myself. She then proceeded to state that we wouldn’t be able to get any help at all because the loan is in forbearance, which they already knew before my appointment. My dad was a drafted 30 year combat veteran. Prior to coming, we felt like we had a great call with Kelly and Carlos. They were very nice. I took off work and drove over two hours to come here. I wasn’t prepared to leave a place that insinuates on your website that when coming in to the Navy Marine - Relief Corps that you would leave with some sort of grant money or loan. I already mentioned that my mother’s loan is in forbearance and we are trying to get the loan current so that she could sell it or do the loan modification or other forbearance options. I feel that with the legacy that my father left behind, she would have provided a better rapport and support with our situation. She also stated that my dad should have known about the benefits that he was entitled to especially in going to the VA hospital visits. We let her know that my dad did have medical records as he was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam. She said that someone should have told him. My dad is deceased and we don’t need to hear should coulda woulda. This does not really help our current situation as we are waiting on the VA to grant my mother pension from my dad. She said, “someone at the hospital should have told him or someone in the waiting room could have told him.” Then she proceeded to chuckle. Needless to say, I left the facility in tears because of the conversation with her. I had a good rapport with the director in which I wish I could’ve met with her instead.
Was not here though it it a fantastic organization Wasn't here great organization

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Rec Center at the Fort Worth Naval Base while trying to purchase event tickets. On May 20, 2025, I visited the facility in person to buy four tickets, completed all required paperwork, and presented my military ID. However, due to a calendar system error, I was only allowed to purchase two tickets at the time. I explained to the gentleman assisting me that I was leaving for work 7 hours away and wouldn’t be able to return. He assured me that since my ID had already been verified, I could pay for the remaining tickets over the phone once the system was back online. I was genuinely relieved and thankful for the accommodation. To his credit, he followed up regularly with phone calls keeping me updated. On May 29, 2025, at 1:17 PM, he called to let me know the system was finally working. Unfortunately, I was at work and didn’t have access to my debit card at the time. I asked if he could call me back the next day, and he said that wouldn’t be a problem. However, I never received a follow-up call. I called the center myself the following day and spoke with someone else—likely a supervisor—who informed me that over-the-phone purchases were not permitted. They offered a phone number to a different location that processes tickets remotely but with a service fee. When I called that number, the office was closed. This experience has been extremely frustrating and honestly the worst interaction I've had with a base Rec Center. I followed all procedures, was patient throughout, and had verbal confirmation that I could complete the process remotely. To have the policy change at the very end without any accommodation or resolution feels disorganized and unprofessional.
Great place to get theme park tickets for military members and certain veterans with additional benefits due to compensation %.

Called to get help changing our address for an order over $1k. Customer service person was very rude and unhelpful. The order was made only an hour previously. They couldn't change the address and said the order had to go out and return before I could do anything about it. I asked for options and she flat out told me there are none and hung up. I called back and asked for a manager and they hung up immediately. I finally called operator and asked for a manager of customer service and was given Katina who gave me instructions on how to call the online store. Overall I'm shocked that anyone at the Exchange customer service would hang up on military related customer and talk rudely to them. Considering us military personnel PCS and our address is easily wrong at times in the profile there should be a much better way of handling this. I doubt there will be any repercussions so I felt it important to make this review.
Super Small Exchange. People are nice here. Not as much variety as some of the larger exchanges. Although as of this writing they are currently renovating the inside. But hey l, it is what it is. And if they don’t have it. With the AAFES warehouses in Dallas. If you order in stock items they are usually delivered within 48-hours. So that’s a bonus
Always great to shop here. So many items, from all categories. Best part, no tax.
